I have a neuromuscu...I have the same fear as ilima. I have a neuromuscular disease called CMT that caused nerve deafness and put me in a wheelchair at the age of forty-five. It causes peripheral nerve damage and muscle wasting in the lower arms and legs, but thankfully does not affect the mind.<br /><br />Even though the fear is real, I don't let myself dwell on it. I'm not sure about reactions to situations they are in. Of course, everyone reacts differently, I imagine. Most of my characters start out alone and borderline socially awkward. But they always find the friendships or love that make them feel whole by the end. <br /><br />So yeah.
