January 3 question:
Do you follow back your readers on BookBub
or do you only follow back other authors?

I am very embarrassed to admit I don't do anything with BookBub. I looked up BookBub to see if I even have a profile on it. Yes, I do!! I am interested to see what you all are saying about BookBub. Do you buy ads on BookBub? Have you had success with the ads leading to book sales? Please leave your comment below.

So glad you are hosting Sherry!

I don't even have a BookBub account.

I need to do more with my BookBub account. I forget about it.

I don't know much about BookBub either. I just get their emails with book offers at low prices.

I can't answer your guestions. I tried Bookbub with an old MacBook a few years ago and the experience was frustrating. I'll try again soon. Happy New Year, Janet!

Don't be embarrassed about not doing anything with Book Bub. There are a lot of us who either don't use it or don't know about it at all.

Happy 2024!

I'm not sure any newsletters carry the weight they once did. Book Bub has a huge following and used to be extremely difficult to get an ad with.
Hope you have a wondrous and successful 2024, cuz.

@Diane--I'm glad I am hosting her too! I love the reason why she chose her recipe to share with readers.

Thank you for stopping in today. After reading through the comments, it seems that some have a BookBub profile, like I do, and don't use it and some just completely forgot about it, like me. So no one can offer much info on BookBub.

Lee summed it up very well--"There are a lot of us who either don't use it or don't know about it at all." :-)

I need to learn more about BB and how to get involved there.

@Olga--yes you can check in and see if it is a good use of your time. Thank you for stopping in.

Have a wonderful year!

I'm a Goodread gal but signed up on Bookbub after this month's QOFTM to get a feel for it. Yet already, I'm showing signs of forgetfulness.

Obviously, the insecure writer's support platform has been highly helpful to anyone dealing with difficult tasks, especially when it comes to academic areas like neuroscience. It can be quite challenging and overwhelming to Deal with a neuroscience dissertation topic, but the kind support from a community is helpful. It was great to hear what other writers have been experiencing, which indeed motivates the writer and gives hope throughout the process.
